Raw data Quality Control

Quality Controls are performed at each step of the data flow to assure the anonymisation, integrity and correct processing of the data. Raw data Quality Control takes place once the raw datasets are collected by the CATI. Clinical research associates check them using dedicated softwares developed by CATI engineers. The procedure is specific to the imaging modality (MR, PET, SPECT) but the main objectives of this step are the same:

  • Checking acquisition protocol consistency (machine parameters, exam procedure, images modalities)
  • Assessing images (subject positioning, movement, artifacts, noise, anonymization, reconstructions etc.)

Only once this first quality control is successfully passed can the raw data be integrated to CATI databases and data flow.
